CollegePrep
News & Events
CollegePrep is a partnership between Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) and the Regional, District, and
First Nations' School Boards of Nova Scotia. There are ten CollegePrep Coordinators across the province who
focus on work with the junior and senior high schools. They work closely with the Department of Education,
School Board staff, high school teachers and administrators on provincial activities, and other activities that
are developed locally based on the school board.

The scope of CollegePrep is determined through the development of Memoranda of Understandings (MOUs)
with the local school boards.

CollegePrep Coordinators work to encourage students to stay in school, understand their opportunities after
graduation from high school, and provide information to students for career planning.
